Have you got what it takes to become a world class technician on one of the world’s top enduro teams ? We are looking for an enthusiastic MTB Mechanic / Equipment Officer Enduro to join our team in Grenchen, and on the road, to start immediately.
Does your heart beat a little faster at the thought of getting your hands dirty on some of the coolest bike tech on the market? Would you love to collaborate with our engineers to help us to improve our Trailfox and Trailcrew bikes? Would it be a dream come true to travel with the BMC Factory Trailcrew to the Enduro World Series events to make sure our riders’ bikes are in top shape? Can you handle the pressure? If so, then our team in Grenchen and the BMC Factory Trailcrew are looking for the following role to start immediately:
MTB Mechanic / Equipment Officer Enduro MTB
Your tasks and responsibilities :
Enduro Team (50 %):
- – Mechanic and organizational tasks at Enduro World Series (EWS) and other Enduro events, training camps and product testing
- – Maintenance of race bikes between events
- – Organization of team race logistics (flights, accommodation, team set up at events, etc.)
- – Placement of orders and follow up of deliveries with team partners
- – Feedback with riders and team partners
BMC Mechanic (50%)
- – Build up, check and maintenance of the press bike fleet
- – Build up, check and maintenance of the test bikes and product launches bike
- – Organisation of the Wengistrasse working area
- – Build up of the R&D samples and bikes
- – Presence at events (product launches, test events, etc.)
Requirements :
- – Min. 2 years experience in a mechanic role and good knowledge of the bike industry
- – Good communication and interpersonal skills
- – Must have strong verbal communication skills in German, English and French
- – Expert user of Microsoft Office applications and able to quickly learn and utilize the integrated company software
- – The successful candidate must be self-confident, able to work independently, and pay great attention to detail
- – Must be willing to work on weekends
