une fixation directe du dérailleur sur l’axe central de la route,  
Shimano choisit de modifier la patte de dérailleur du cadre avec un  
déport très sur l’arrière. Outre la facilité de mise en place de la  
roue arrière saluée par les constructeurs de cadre, cette solution va  
surtout permettre à Shimano de modifier ses dérailleurs Shadow et  
Shadow+ qui voulait se passer de la petite pièce qui le relie le corps  
du dérailleur à la patte de cadre. Désormais, la fixation sera plus  
directe, donc plus rigide. En théorie, cette nouvelle configuration de  
cadre ne devrait pas empêcher le montage de dérailleur classique.
